SanYu Levels 1-3 Trial Class (current N2 & K1 students)

The SanYu program aims to increase language exposure  and to cultivate the love for the language. Starting from Level 1, this program explores the foundations of the Chinese language through songs, movements & stories. Delivered using a fun & play-based methodology, you can expect your child to begin speaking with basic Chinese vocabularies, demonstrating interest in Chinese songs & stories. Levels 2 & 3 will begin deeper understanding of richer Chinese vocabularies, application to daily lives & further improvement in both written & spoken command. 

As a general guideline for which level is suitable for your child: 

1) Level 1: Nursery 2 

2) Level 2: Kindergarten 1 & Nursery 2 (if Chinese is one of the spoken languages at home, and your child has previously attended Level 1)

3) Level 3: Kindergarten 1 (your child should have previously attended Level 2) 

Each level sees a skills focused class with emphasis on spoken, reading & writing. As such the level is categorised into 2 skill-focused days: 1) Verbal skill  2) Written skill. 

Classes can take place in-person or digitally from home (parental guidance is encouraged and optional only if your child is able to participate in digital lessons independently). 

The trial classes will take place at the start of Term 4 (1st-8th October). Registration is compulsory and you will be contacted to confirm your child's participation in the trial class.
